6:15 PM Vigil: Compline with communion prayers and Akathist to Saint John, Vespers with Liti, Matins, Holy water, 1st hour
8:15 AM Communion prayers are read, then the simantra are hit and bells are rung
8:40 AM (aprox) – Entrance of the Bishop and Formal Vesting of Bishop, Followed by: 3rd and 6th hours & Hierarchal Divine liturgy.
After Divine liturgy, there will be a procession, followed by the thanksgiving prayers, antidoron is given out, and then we will process to trapeza.
Following Trapeza, there is the Panagia service, some songs by the choir and then we process back to church for the final petitions and the Polychronion for the Metropolitan.
6:15 PM “Half” Vigil: Sunday after the Feast day and All-Saints of Mount Athos in 2021.
Order for the vigil: Compline with Communion prayers and Akathist, Great Vespers with Great Prokeimenon, Sunday Matins until Canons. Stop before canons with a full dismissal.
7:00 AM We begin with Matins canons and we complete matins. Then we read the 1st, 3rd and 6th hours. Priest gives dismissal, choir chants Triadika hymns and the Divine Liturgy is served.
4:00 PM Great Vespers (St Nahum is transferred to Monday).
3:30 AM- Regular schedule (Divine Liturgy is served as usual during Apostle’s Fast)
