By the mercy of God and through the prayers of our Holy Patron Saint John, we were deemed worthy to celebrate the feast day of the Sacred Monastery. A great number of pilgrims gathered, numbering over 400, to honor Saint John’s memory.
On the day of the feast, hundreds of pilgrims celebrated the Divine Liturgy, followed by a festive procession around the monastery grounds, during which the new cemetery and construction site of the new monastic cloister was blessed with Holy Water. A festive trapeza followed. On the next day, Sunday, another large group of pilgrims who couldn’t make it on Saturday were present.
Glory be to God for all things!
