Incense Descriptions
Amber: A sweet & woody vanilla aroma complemented with golden citrus, musk and sandalwood accords.
Catacomb: An ancient frankincense and myrrh combination, this fragrance also includes cedarwood, sweetened with a touch of rose, vanilla and amber musk.
Constantinople: An elegant fragrance from the queen of Byzantine cities composed of powdery rose incense blended with sandalwood, sweet myrrh and soft spice.
Damascus Rose: A remarkable rose fragrance with a subtle fruity and dewy petal character, harmonized with a rich and elegant amber.
Ethiopian Frankincense: Pure and natural frankincense imported from Ethiopia with hints of lemon and evergreen. The base for all of our fine varieties.

Evergreen and Embers: A deep and rich mixture of fir, spruce, balsam, cedarwood and moss with touches of cinnamon, clove and eucalyptus creates a wonderful and complex aroma of evergreen. An especially delightful fragrance during the Nativity season, but wonderful for any time of the year.
Flowers of Cyprus: From the rolling meadows of Cyprus comes a magnificent floral blend of rose, orange blossom, geranium, jasmine, and carnation combined with citrus fruit oils tempered with woody and mossy base notes.
Garden of Gethsemane: Our newest fragrance is a complex blend of geranium, neroli and ylang and is freshened with strong top notes of rose. This pleasing blend is infused with a spicy mix of ginger, cinnamon and clove and then sweetened with undertones of vanilla.
Richly floral at first, and then becoming sweet and spicy as it persists, we have dedicated this to the Garden of Gethsemane, which is the site of the burial of our Most Holy Lady Theotokos.
Honeysuckle: A white floral bouquet of pure honeysuckle complemented with touches of jasmine, honey, citrus notes, lavender, vanilla musk and sandalwood.
Hyssop: Thyme, lavender and eucalyptus are warmed with moss, amber and vanilla to capture the fragrance of this herb which was used for liturgical purposes during biblical times.
“Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be made clean…” -Psalm 50:7
Iveron: Fresh and bright top notes of white blossoms, rose and lily softened with warm musk make this a fitting incense to honor the Theotokos.
Jasmine: A strong jasmine presence presides, accompanied with light florals, citrus and smooth musk to create this pleasing scent.
Kursk: Fresh citrus and sweet berries join together with ginger, neroli, moss, cedar and olibanum to create this graceful fragrance dedicated to the Kursk icon of the Theotokos.
Lily of Aegina: A rich floral medley with warm spices, sandalwood and moss to create a striking and complex aroma to honor the wonderworker, St. Nektarios of Aegina.
Lindisfarne: A woodsy blend of sandalwood and cedar sweetened with vanilla and musk. This incense is dedicated to the ancient Celtic monastic center known as “Holy Island”.
Myrrh: A woodland resin blend of amber, cedar, myrrh and frankincense with a soft spicy floral rose accord. One of our most popular fragrances.

Old Church: We bottled up the aroma of an ancient Byzantine basilica with wooden rafters overhead and the smoke of frankincense lingering in the air. Old Church incense is a complex and woody blend of labdanum, frankincense, cedar & fir needle and vetiver, with a touch of spices.
Orange Blossom: A sweet and floral fragrance of green top notes united to a floral bouquet of jasmine, rose, petit grain and ylang warmed with base accords of sandalwood and amber.
Somalian Frankincense: ure and natural frankincense imported from Ethiopia with hints of lemon and evergreen. The base for all of our fine varieties.
